By welcoming G2 Energy into our business, Mitie has expanded our high-voltage electrical and civil engineering services. Alongside our acquisitions of Custom Solar, Rock Power Connections and JCA Engineering, this means we can offer a more comprehensive set of engineering services.
We provide complete design and build innovative solutions for sustainable infrastructure projects, with specialist expertise in connecting new energy infrastructure to the grid.
End-to-end energy solutions
As an independent connection provider (ICP), G2 Energy delivers contestable works at voltages up to and including 132kV, and National Grid self-bay works up to 400kV. We operate a fully audited and verified integrated management system, certified by ISOQAR, and is National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) Accredited.
Plus, the team can provide end-to-end project delivery, from design and installation to project management and connection to the grid. We also offer proactive and reactive maintenance to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet the specific needs of our customers across multiple industries.
The former G2 energy team is a fantastic addition to Mitie. With our existing capabilities in energy, decarbonisation and electrical engineering, our new colleagues will add further services to support our customers with their decarbonisation ambitions.
